I have an interesting solution for making a big thick 3D surface image on thin material. The advantage of this method is the low milling depth and the low time cost. 1 square meter milling takes only about half an hour at 50 mm / s milling speed and 8 mm milling depth with a V120 milling cutter. If your project size is 50x50cm then the maximum milling depth is only 4mm and the milling time is four times shorter.
